Cookie Baking Day

Yesterday the kids and I went to bake cookies with Bob's family at his parents house. This is an annual Christmas tradition in his family that we look forward to every year. I am not much of a baker myself, but I am a cookie frosting queen once Cookie Baking Day arrives. :) As always I took pictures of our day that I want to share with you.

This first shot is of the table where we all sit and frost the cookies. By the end of the day it is covered in frosting, sprinkles, and of course, cookies.

Since we had the family together we decided to celebrate my niece Jessica's birthday who is going to be 21 on Friday. This blows my mind considering the fact that she was 8 years old when Bob and I got married!! She has grown into such a beautiful young women and it has been blessing to watch her grow up. I love you Jess!! :)

Here is a shot of my Mom and Audrey rolling out cookies. This was the first year my Mom joined us and it was great to have her there.

I bet you didn't know that Indiana Jones liked to bake cookies, did you? :)

Once the cookies were out of the oven it was time to start frosting them. Here are Audrey and Kathy hard at work.

Nathan sat and frosted about 3 cookies and then he was off to run around in Grandma's backyard.

This is what the table looked like when we were all done decorating the cookies.

Here are my Mom and I kicking back after all the baking was done.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a glimpse into our Cookie Baking Day. Merry Christmas!! :)
