Smokey Bear

A couple of weeks ago Nathan left his favorite stuffed animal at Grandma's house and was having a hard time going to bed that night without it. Being the clever and insightful Dad that he is, Bob had a great idea. He went and got his favorite childhood stuffed animal, Smokey Bear, and asked Nathan if would like to sleep with him for the night. Bob explained to him how special Smokey Bear was to him and that he would be doing Bob a favor by taking care of him for the night. Nathan was delighted by this idea and went to bed without any further objections.

Here is a shot of Bob with Smokey when he was a little boy.....

....and here is Nathan sleeping soundly with the same bear. :)

Oh that is SO sweet! My Dh found one of his old 'blankies' (a quilt that his grandma had made him) and Joseph just adores it. Those sorts of things are so special!

Gina,

Sometimes that Bob is just too smart...and thoughtful and loving. What great shots of them.
