Corona Del Mar
Today the kids and I went to the beach at Corona del Mar with our homeschool group. It was a great day to go since the temperature at my house was 100 degrees (Yuck!!). The weather there was beautiful and the kids had a blast playing with their friends. Thanks to carpool lanes and toll roads it only took us 45 mins. to get there and about an hour to get home. Considering the fact that Southern California traffic can be a nightmare, this was pretty amazing. Here are some photos of the kids enjoying the day.

Looks like you had soo much fun :) It was HOT here....103! Unfortunately my oldest ds was throwing up/sick yesterday..but got over it and is better today..NOW my dd is sick (she was throwing up today)so we stuck around the house. I am hoping i don't catch it...my oldest ds's bday party is on Sunday and I can't get sick!
Anyways...lol...glad you had a good time!

I love the beach, but we are too far to get to enjoy the beach on a regular basis.

Oh man - I am having a hard time not coveting that beautiful beach! ;-)
Out of all the things I miss the most - the ocean is definitely #1.
