Our Camping Trip

As some of you know, in the past I have been called a "Camping Snob" because I had no desire whatsoever to go camping. Well this past weekend we went camping at the beach with Bob's family and I had a great time. This is a photo of the view we had from our camp site. I enjoyed myself so much that we are planning on going again next month. The kids had so much fun playing on the beach with their cousins, and Bob was able to get a fair amount of surf fishing done. What I enjoyed most was getting to spend quality time with family, being able to hear the ocean at night, and not having to wear make-up. I actually enjoyed wearing grubby, comfy clothes and no make-up(you'll notice there are no pictures of me to follow). The atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back which is the complete opposite of my personality, so it was good for me. It was also very nice to have family there to help with the kids, cooking, and clean-up. I don't think I would do it without all that help. It would be way too much work. Besides, I enjoy spending time with Bob's family. They are a gift from God to me and I love and appreciate them all.

Bob helped Audrey catch some sand crabs and she had a great time playing with them before she let them go. The other photo is of Audrey playing in the ocean with her cousins Kathy and Michael.
