Rainy Day with Grandma

Today was a wonderful rainy day in Southern California. We don't get nearly enough rain here, so I like to enjoy it when we do. We finished school around 10:30am and then went to the library. My Mom was able to join us because she works for a school district that had no school today due to snow. The kids had a great time showing Grandma the library. After lunch Audrey and Nathan began making a zoo for Audrey's animals with the help of Grandma. It turned out very nice and they had a lot of fun making it. I am so thankful that we homeschool so that my kids can express their creativity and spend quality time with Grandma while they do it.

Here are some photos of "The Zoo".

Okay, it is just wrong. I'm soo close to you and didn't get a single drop of rain all day. We had really high winds though. I want some rain (whaa).

LOOKS LIKE FUN!

My kids have had their animals out this week, too. Don't you love it when they use their imaginations with toys like these instead of 'mindless' electronic toys?!!!
