Field Trip to Disneyland

Yesterday the kids and I went to Disneyland with Bob's family and we had a wonderful time. We had not been there since the beginning of June because the passes we have are blocked out in the summer months. We don't mind because going to Disneyland when it is hot and crowded is not our idea of fun. We decided to wait until most everyone was back in school and then go enjoy ourselves. We picked a great day to go because it was not crowded at all and we were able to walk right onto most of the rides. The weather was a bit warm, but we kept cool by going on Splash Mountain and taking the kids to a water play area. Here are a couple pictures I took of our adventures. Enjoy!

They both like to get maps of the park to help plan our day.

Even though she is almost 7, Audrey still likes to ride the carousel.

Nathan, Michael, & Audrey playing in the Brother Bear play area. Jenny, Kathy, and I sat in the shade and watched them run around in the heat. :)

Cooling off in A Bug's Life water play park.

Nathan watching videos on Kathy's camera.

Nathan & Grandma kickin' it at the Plaza Inn.

My kids would like that kind of field trip.

Oh, and Lydia is going to be 10 in a week or so and she LOVES the carousel. LOL.
