Great Deal

Now that I am the "Coupon Queen", I am always on the look out for good deals at stores in my neighborhood. Today I went to Vons to grocery shop and I was able to get a few items at a really good price by taking advantage of store sales and manufacturer coupons. Here is what I got.



I paid $2.42 for all 4 of these cleaners, which comes out to $.61 each. Here is how I did it.

$8.58 (2 Windex @ $4.29 each)
$8.98 (2 Scrubbing Bubbles @ $4.49 each)
=$17.56 Full Retail Price
-$6.60 Vons Club
-$4.00 (I had a $1.00 off manufacturer coupon for each item)
-$1.50 (This was a Vons coupon I got a few weeks ago with my receipt that was for $1.50 off any purchase of $5.00 in cleaning products.)
-$4.00 (Vons Club-they had a special this week for $4 off your order if you purchased 4 participating products in one transaction. All of the items were a part of that deal.)

=$1.46 new total
+$ .96 sales taxes
=$2.42 for all four items!!

P.S. I forgot to add that I have a rebate offer for the Windex that I got in the Sunday paper. It is for a free bottle of Windex when you purchase one by 6/30/09. So I am actually getting 5 cleaning products for $2.42, or $.48 each. Woo Hoo!!
