Over the last several months Nathan has taken a liking to the Indiana Jones character. He can tell you all about him, hum the theme song for you, and he even got an action figure for his birthday. The funny thing about all of this is that he has never seen any of the Indiana Jones movies, and is too small to go on the ride at Disneyland. So when we asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween, of course his response was, "Indiana Jones!!!" So on our last trip to Disneyland we got him the Indy hat he will need for his costume.
I have to tell you that he looks so adorable in his new hat and he absolutely loves wearing it. He especially likes to wear it when he is playing the Indiana Jones game on the Lego website.
He even wore it when he went to the hardware store with Bob last weekend and when we went out to lunch after church on Sunday. Whenever he wears it out he gets compliments on it. :)
I will be sure and post pictures of him on Halloween with his full costume on, so stay tuned. :)

I can't wait to see him all dressed up.
When my oldest son Matthew was about 3 or so, he always wanted to dress up like Mr. Rogers....He would have a sport jacket and sweater, and two different pairs of shoes, so that he could "change" like Mr. Rogers did. So one day, Shannon was going to go to the store, and Matthew was going to go with him. Shannon said, "Come on, Matt. Let's go!" And Matthew said, "I'll be right back!"
So Shannon waited a minute, then Matthew came back and said, "I'm ready now!"
He was dressed as Mr. Rogers.
Shannon looked at me and said, "Is he serious?"
LOL!:)
And I answered, "I'm afraid so...." ;)
13 years later, that is still funny!

I will be waiting to see that as we are big Indiana fans here! The movies are a bit intense in certain parts. So Mookie has just seen one or two this year.
Have him carry a rubber snake because Indiana Jones HATES snakes!! LOL!
