Today was the first day in a long time that it was only in the high 70's, and I actually had to put my slippers on this morning because my feet were cold. Last night was also the first night I wore sweats and closed the kids windows before I went to bed. All of these signs tell me that fall is just around the corner. YAY!!! I love fall in southern California. After 3 months of scorching heat and smoggy air, I am ready for some cool weather and brisk fall breezes. I am also looking forward to family bike rides, hiking trips, and going to the park. We are just not able to do these things in the summer because it gets so stinkin' hot. I hope this cooling trend lasts and I can bust out my jackets, Uggs, and hot chocolate. :)
Oh, and just so you know, fall in SoCal does not look anything like this beautiful photo I found. I am envious of those of you who live in areas where the leaves change colors. All the leaves do here is turn brown and fall off the trees. Boring!!! Anyway, have a great weekend! :)

When our leaves start changing colors, I will send you some pictures, or I could just bring them to Starbucks when we have our coffee following our support group meetings.;) It's up to you.;)
You need to get Bob to take a picture of you wearing your Uggs into your local Starbucks....It would be very "UsWeekly.";)
(Along with Diet Coke issues, I also love me some "UsWeekly." I get so excited every Monday when a new edition arrives in my mailbox. sigh.)

Hey, what's this about a Fall Support Group? For those addicted to colorful leaves? COUNT ME IN!!! I lived in SoCal for a year...San Diego and I loved it BUT.....this picture looks like it could have been taken up in our lakes area about 20 minutes away. So gorgeous!! You might just have to get yourself over here to middle America and visit us and our leaves!

Haha...can't wait to bust out the Uggs either..well at least my knowck-offs from Target ;p
