Yesterday was my father-in-law Don's birthday, so last night we went over to Bob's parents house to celebrate. I won't tell you how old he is, but I will tell you that he is a wonderful godly man who loves his family very much. I have been blessed to know him for over 12 years and I can tell you that I am so proud that my son will carry on his Papa's name. He can fix pretty much anything, and he does beautiful wood work. He made me a cradle when I was pregnant with Audrey, and has made a toy box for each of the kids. He has a great sense of humor and is the king of corny jokes and silly puns. The best thing about him is that he loves the Lord and has passed this love onto his children and grandchildren. Audrey and Nathan absolutely adore their Papa and I am so thankful to God that he is their Grandpa. Happy Birthday Papa...we love you!! :)

What a blessing for you and your family to have this wonderful man in your lives....And I love that at his "young" age, he still loves Donald Duck....and I spied Eeyore on a coffee mug (we sometimes call Shannon Eeyore, so we have a little collection of Eeyore things in the house).
