Our Camping Trip: Part Four

Okay, this is the last post I am going to write about our camping trip...I promise. :) Here are just a few more fun photos and precious moments that Bob and I captured on film.

I love this shot of Nathan and Audrey listening to Grandma read them the story of Brer Rabbit.

These little squirrels are everywhere around the campsite, even on the beach. They are very bold and are not shy about trying to get to your food. We could not leave anything out or they would find it and eat it. One of them even went into my in-laws trailer to get at some potato chips.

Bob took the kids for a walk to the Camp Store to get a treat. You know, those cheap toys that look really cool in the package and then break after 2 minutes of the kids playing with them. The kids not only have Daddy suckered into taking them there, but Grandma as well.

This picture has a great story that goes with it. My Mother-in-law Elsie despises reptiles of any kind, especially lizards. So Bob & I decided to put this toy lizard on her pillow as a practical joke. We hid it under her blanket and then waited for her to find it. We had to wait until about 10pm at night, but it was worth it. She was totally freaked out and we knew by her scream that she had found it. I love you Elsie!!!:)

I never get tired of the beautiful sunsets at the beach. This is the view we had from our campsite on the night we left. Thank you Lord!!

Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing and hearing about our trip. Thanks for hanging in there with me as I have taken 4 posts to share about our adventures. I hope you all have a great weekend. God bless!

That sunset is just incredible!

Thank you for sharing your family trip with us. As you already know, I love pictures, so this has been right up my alley.

Are you ready for our trip together?

Just one thing.....please, please, please, no frogs (real or fake) on my pillow case.

I'm just saying.;)

God Bless,
Amy:)

Too funny about the lizard! My Dh has a very realistic plastic cockroach that he likes to 'freak me out' with once in awhile.
I'll find in in the shower, or in a box of cereal. (SO not funny!) :-p

I'm glad you had a great time camping!
