The Air Show

This afternoon we decided to go to an air show at March Air Force Base. It was a beautiful sunny day with a nice cool breeze. Thank goodness the weather was so nice because we ended up parking in a lot that was about a mile from the exhibits. This would have been no problem if it had just been Bob and I, but Audrey and Nathan were not up for the long walk. We carried them as much as we could, but they are both over 40 lbs., so holding them and walking was quite a workout.

The kids had a great time being able to go inside some of the air crafts and Bob was excited to get a chance to see the Thunderbirds perform. The kids were not too thrilled by them though because neither one of them likes loud noises. Overall it was a great family outing and we would definitely go again. We will just make sure next time that we park in a closer parking lot. :) Here are some fun photos from our day.

What fun!:)
A few years ago we went and saw the Blue Angels...It was also loud, but very exciting as they flew over our heads.....Isn't it weird how they would be almost out of sight before you even hear them though?....:)

I'm glad you and your family had so much fun!

God Bless,
Amy:)

That looks like a blast! We love doing things like that. We had a fun "family day" this weekend. I need to get on the ball and post them:)

We were able to watch from our back yard! They were praticing all week and made sooooo much noise! I always worry that one of them is going to crash into my house...lol...silly huh. Looks like they had a great time :-D
