Today Audrey asked me for some paper because she wanted to draw a picture. I had no idea what she was going to draw, and I was speechless when she came and showed me what she had made. She told me that this is a picture of Jesus dying on the cross and the red was for His blood. She even drew the crosses of the theives that were crucified with Him. Later when she showed it to Bob she told him that the theives died along with Jesus, but that only Jesus came back to life again. WOW!! We did a unit study on Easter this week, but she didn't seem that into it. What a pleasant surprise and blessing it was for me to realize that she actually understands the Easter story. One of the reasons we are homeschooling is so we can raise our children to know and love the Lord. This is just another confirmation from God that we made the right decision.

Sounds like someone was listening after all. Amazing!
Awesome! I'm always amazed by how much Snap Dragon remembers even though he tries to make me think otherwise. ;-)
Such a sweet story. What a blessing!
I saw in your other post that you finshed "Charlotte's Web", did your children love it? That is the most precious book that I have ever read. My boys and I read it very slowly because we didn't want it to end.:)
God Bless!
Amy:)
Oh I loved seeing her picture...very touching to know that at even that age they understand what Jesus did for us :)
