Daddy's Creation

After dinner tonight Audrey asked me if she could have a smore for dessert. Since it was in the high 90's here today, I told her it was not a good day for a camp fire. She was a little bit disappointed, until Bob offered to make the kids a "surprise" dessert. They both loved this idea and were so excited to see what he would make. To be honest, so was I. After a couple minutes in the kitchen, he had them close their eyes and he placed this in front of them.

If you can't tell by the photo, those are marshmallows and chocolate syrup. Needless to say, his creation was a hit.

Yes, my son is at the dinner table without a shirt on. (Gasp!) I know this is terribly bad manners, but like I said, it was very hot today.

They both proceeded to eat every single bite and Daddy was the hero of the day once again.

Daddy is a creative genius!:) What a great idea!

That would be a fun way to introduce each new letter of the alphabet too.

Well, I'm off. I've got to inform my husband that it is bad manners to sit at the table with no shirt on.;)

God Bless,
Amy:)

You know, you can make smores in a microwave for those times when you don't have a campfire ;o)

My blogspot profile links to my knitting blog, but you can find my new home school/HOD blog here

I understand about the hot weather....my ds who's 3 1/2 has had his shirt off more than on around here lately LOL. That was such a creative alternative to smores! I was going to suggest the microwave thing too but noticed someone already did for ya ;) Have a great school week!
