God's Big Backyard was the theme this year for our VBS. The focus was on service, and we taught the kids about serving their families, their friends, their neighbors, their community, and Jesus. Each night we told a story that showed each of these types of service. For example, I told them the story of the Good Samaritan when we were learning about serving our neighbors. As the teacher I was responsible for decorating the classroom. Since creativity is not one of my strengths, this was a challenge for me. But as the photos show, I think it turned out pretty good. I also included a couple of pictures of the kids in their VBS t-shirts. As you can tell by the photos they were both in a very silly mood.
Looks like your kiddos had a good time from the expressions on their faces lol! Your room was decorated nicely. I know how exausting it can be teaching VBS....I've done it forever *sigh* lol.
