Feeding the Ducks with Grandma

Last week the kids and I went to have lunch with my Mom at her office. She works in a beautiful mountain community where I grew up and lived for about 15 years. It is always nice for me to go back and visit my old "stomping ground". I think I appreciate the beauty of the scenery much more now than I did as a teenager. We decided to take the kids to McDonald's and then let them feed the ducks in the lake. It was a gorgeous day and the kids had a wonderful time. Another highlight of our trip was when the kids got to play with the typewriter in Grandma's office. They had both never seen one before in their lives and thought it was a pretty cool "toy".

Here are some photos I took of the kids feeding the ducks and some of the lake. Enjoy!

Looks like a beautiful place!

Typewriters.....now there's a blast from the past!:)

I've tried to explain to my boys about the corrective paper white out we used to use.....you would have to line it up just so.....or you would white out the wrong letter.:)

God Bless Technology!:)

I'm glad you had a lovely visit with your mom.:)
