Audrey's hair

This last week Audrey decided that she is old enough to brush her own hair, and does not need or want my help. At first I was a little sad because she is growing up so fast, but now I am okay with it. It frees up some time for me, and I don't have to listen to her whine that I am brushing too hard. Here is a photo of her first attempt of doing her own hair.

She told me that she wanted her hair to look like Lucy's from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Bob is reading her the Narnia series right now and she loves watching the movie. I did help her put the barrette in and I made sure she had straight part. My type A personality would never allow her to walk around without a straight part. A crooked part on little girl is one of my pet peeves.

Anyway, here is a picture I found of Lucy, I think she came pretty close. :)

Wow, It almost makes me want to challenge you to give Buttercup a straight part. Trying to get a straight part for pig tails is IMPOSSIBLE with ultra thick hair. LOL.

I wish Buttercup was interested in doing her own hair. She is almost 9yo. She just wants it out of her face.

Miss Audrey looks very cute and Lucy-like.

She did a great job!:)
I think that is so sweet that she wants to be like Lucy.:)

You crack me up talking about having to help her make sure the part is "straigt."
That sounds exactly like my husband. He would not be able to handle looking at a "crooked" part.:)

You have beautiful babies!
God Bless,
Amy:)

She does look like Lucy - too cute!

My 10 yr old still has me do her hair. It is 'baby fine' and very long and she gets So many snarls (that she can't reach.)

I admit - I like to 'play' with her hair! It's one of the fun parts about having little girls! :-)
