Last Sunday after church we went over to my Mom & Mike's house because they had a surprise for the kids. They recently added an airplane teeter totter to their backyard playground. Mike has spent many hours putting a border around the playground and putting down synthetic ground cover so that when the kids fall they will not get hurt. Now for those of you who don't know, my kids are the only grandkids they have that live in the same state as they do. So Audrey and Nathan will pretty much have it to themselves the majority of the time. To say that my kids are spoiled by my Mom & Mike is an under statement! But, that is what grandparents are for, and my kids adore them for it. Bob and I appreciate all that they do to make their home "kid friendly". Our children are very blessed to have such loving and thoughtful grandparents in their lives. Here are some photos of them playing on their new toy. Needless to say, the surprise was a big hit. They played on it together all afternoon.

Nathan loved being the pilot. Luckily Audrey did not mind being the co-pilot.

Here they are giving the teeter totter a try for the first time. They had the hang of it by the end of the day.

Grandma hopped on and gave the teeter totter a try as well.

My kids were drooling over that at Costco. Course I was ooh and aahing about it this morning and my 8yo DD asked me, "Mom, are you jealous of what they have?" NO! Well, maybe a little bit. ;-) Congratulations.
