Week #18 in Review

This week we finished week 18 in Little Hearts for His Glory which focused on the apostles preaching the good news of the gospel. We read about Stephen's stoning, Peter's miraculous release from prison, and Paul & Silas beging put in jail for preaching the gospel. We did not have a memeory verse this week, instead we reviewed verses from previous weeks. Audrey was able to remember them all.

Handwriting:
Audrey is improving each week in her writing and I am very proud of her.

Math:
This week we worked on odd and even numbers, counting money, measuring perimeters, and addition.

Reading/Phonics:
Audrey did great on the post tests for ETC book 1. We will begin book 2 on Monday. We practiced silent e words in First Reader this week. This was not a new concept for her thanks to the Leap Frog videos we have.

Science:
The animlas we studied this week were wolves and coyotes. The pages below are Audrey's first attempt at narration. I was pleased and amused by what she had to say. BTW, our book did say that coyotes have a fondness for watermelon.

I wish Audrey would come show my Ryan how to sit on his bucket and get some work done. ;-) He wants to see how fast he can get done and go back to jumping on his trampoline. Boys. I loved your week in review! I like hearing what everyone is doing.
