Sugar & Salt
Today we did a science experiment from Little Hearts for His Glory using sugar and salt. I put a pinch of each one next to each other and asked the kids if they were the same or different. They both decided they looked the same. Then I asked them to taste each one and then they realized they were different. The key idea behind the experiment was that sin can be the same way. It may look good and seem sweet at first (like the sugar), but there are always consequences that are bitter (like the salt). The kids enjoyed it and I thought it was a great object lesson.

We did a similar experience with R&S Science only we used solutions. I made sugar water and salt water. It was fun and the faces on the kids were priceless. LOL. Looks like you had a blast!
Looks like you had a fun week. Great pics! They are too cute!
Oh what a good lesson they had! I am really starting to like the sounds of LHFHG for K for my dd :) I am enjoying your posts about it!
