Family Movie Night
Last night we had our first ever "Family Movie Night". The kids and I went to the library last week and checked out a few movies. We decided to save one to watch together as a family on Saturday night. Bob and I chose Disney's version of Swiss Family Robinson. The kids had never seen it before and I could not remember the last time I saw it. We got out pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, popcorn, Dr. Pepper, and then we cozy in front of the TV. Both of the kids enjoyed the movie and it held Audrey's attention for the full 2 hours. Nathan got a bit fidgety, but did great for a 3 year old. Audrey and Nathan are already looking forward to what we will watch for our next movie night. We are planning on going to the library again this week to see what we can find.

OH We love family movie night! We try to do it every Saturday..I make up some popcorn (from the stove with real butter..yummy!) and earlier in the day we are starting to bake stuff to snack on...but I love just sitting there with everyone in the same room..spending time together! We are sooo alike..you and me :-)
Did you know you can request movies online just like books? Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't :-D
