Nathan's 3rd Birthday

My precious little boy turned 3 years old today. He is growing up so fast and is a joy to be around. We had a birthday party for him at our house yesterday with family and friends. The kids had fun swimming and playing in the yard. There was one unfortunate mishap and my friend's 4 year old daughter got hit in the face by a PVC pipe my nephew was using to hit the pinata. Thankfully she was okay and did not require stitches. It was a freak accident that could have been worse, but the Lord was watching over us. Nathan got some very cool gifts including several Star Wars and Spiderman toys. He was in heaven and will have a great time playing with all of them. Today he got to go to his new 3 year old class at church and did very well. He has a wonderful Sunday school teacher who taught Audrey when she was 3 as well. After church we took Nathan to Toys R Us to pick out something for his birthday. He picked a Geo Trax train station and Audrey got a Nerf dart gun. It has been a great weekend celebrating his birthday, but I am wiped out. I am looking forward to some rest and down time until we begin homeschooling.
